What is Liter of Light?

Liter of Light is a global project and a cheap solution for bringing light into the houses of the poor people in countries of the global south without the need of paying electricity bills.

We believe in a world where children can read a book inside of their house, so that it is possible for them to achieve everything they want to.

Liter of Light in Rome!

From the 14th to the 16th of October the Maker Faire Expo took place in Rome, Italy. Liter of Light Dominican Republic, Italy and the Filippines were there to teach the visitors how small scale solar lighting solutions change the lives of hundrets of thousands of people all over the world. In workshops the visitor were able to build their own Kerosene Lanterns 2.0, which are conventional Kerosene Lights turned into eco-friendly, sustianable solar lights!
